Getting a lot done this morning.
First stop, Dr. Fishers’ office to get my expensive A## shot. For $5,106, it had better work with a quickness.
Second stop, IVIG today.
Brief look into my life since having Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy or CIDP, a rare neurological disorder that affects about 1 in every 100,000 persons (US figures), which means not many people know much about it, including most doctors.

what kind of shot do you get for 5k? does it help your cidp? I was diagnoised in june. I have had 3 hosp stays. 15 IVIG treatments. now I am doing plasma exchange--I had 7 in the hosp. and 9 since then. I usually relaspe every 8 weeks after a hospital stay. so far so good. I am in wk 12 since my last hosp stay. I take 10mg of prednisone (from a high of 60 mg)150mg of Imuran and 40-60 mg of oxycodone. Good Luck
